Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. For the over a decade, this worldwide movement emphasizes generosity and connection after the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. 

This Giving Tuesday, we are asking our community to support sciences at SJB by helping us upgrade our math and science classroom Smartboards!   As we all know, at a certain point technology becomes obsolete, and our current Smartboards have reached that point. Our teachers are looking forward to spending less time troubleshooting technology and spending more time doing what they love - teaching their students! 

On Tuesday, December 2nd, our community exceeded our goal of $3,000 and raised $3,400 to start our Smartboard upgrade! Although Giving Tuesday is over, please consider joining these amazing supporters so we can bring new Smartboards to ALL of our science classrooms!
